Our Mission

 At “Al Shabiba Risala” (ASR) our mission is to enable the emerging generation in Lebanon to flourish so that they are free and equipped to pursue peace within themselves and their communities. We’re called to know God and make Him known and we remain committed to that motto through our vision and identity.

 

On the one hand, our role is to support young people by attending to their well-     being in four dimensions:

• Physical

• Emotional

• Social

• Spiritual

​

 with the aim of empowering them as young leaders to become peacemakers as   they take up their various roles and responsibilities in society.

 

On the other hand our Forgiveness and Peace curriculum leads participants on a   “journey of understanding” with regards to transforming conflict and preventing   violence. Broadly speaking, this can be broken down into 3 main areas:

• Understanding the ‘Other’
