Al Shabiba Risala is all about supporting the next generation, focusing on children and young people and making sure they grow up happy and healthy in every way—emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually. And it's not just about them; we're also there for their families and the whole community. Our main aim? To help our participants to become leaders who'll bring peace to Lebanon. We're giving them the skills and confidence they need to take on different roles in society. By doing this, we're building connections and paving the way for a brighter, more peaceful future.

FORGIVENESS AND PEACE JOURNEY (FPJ)
ASR's special curriculum is all about giving children the tools they need to handle conflicts and stop violence before it starts. We focus on forgiveness and making peace, teaching them how to behave well in class and take care of themselves overall. Our lessons are hands-on, with lots of group talks and activities to help everyone learn how to get along better and respect each other.

In local schools, we've been using our FPJ curriculum for a while now. Even with everything going on in Lebanon, we've seen just how important it is, especially when times get tough. This year, we've been working hard in schools in Hadath and Dahya/Mrayjeh in South Beirut, teaching children and teens of different ages how to make peace.

We don't stop there, though. We keep an eye out for those who might be struggling and work with them, their parents, and their teachers to figure out what they need. We make sure everyone knows what's going on and work together to make things better, whether it's in school or at home.

Teachers are a big part of what we do, too. We're giving them special training to help them teach our curriculum even better. They learn how to handle conflicts, take care of their students' well-being, and make sure everyone feels included. By training teachers, we're making sure our lessons have an even bigger impact on the whole school.

SHABEB PLAY FOR PEACE (SPFP)
SPFP is right in the heart of Bourj Hammoud/Baouchrieh area in greater Beirut. We've got children, teens and young people from all different backgrounds hanging out with us, and we're here to help them out in more ways than one. ASR is all about teaching them how to keep the peace, whether it's on the football field or in their everyday lives. They're not just players; they're also peace ambassadors wherever they go across Lebanon.

Hearts & Minds Follow-Up
We've been keeping track of our community program for parents with follow-up sessions aimed at helping everyone feel good and deal with tough times. We've had more people coming to join us, including women from both Lebanese and Syrian backgrounds. We mix things up with activities like Zumba, First Aid training, and trips to cool places to help everyone unwind.

Men's Group
Our men’s group has been meeting up regularly for football and talks about taking care of themselves. It's been great to see them getting closer and supporting each other more. From friendly matches to serious chats, they're building a real sense of brotherhood.

Psychosocial Support (PSS) and Peacebuilding Sessions
Many of our participants from different backgrounds have been joining in our sessions focused on feeling good and making peace. We've been talking about everything from teamwork to setting goals, both on the field and at the Play for Peace Centre.

Coaches Training
Our coaches have been brushing up on their skills to help guide their teams better, from managing conflicts to leading social initiatives. They've even had their own camp to brainstorm and plan how to make things even better for their players.

Girls Group
Our girls are breaking stereotypes and showing what they're made of on the field. But it's not just about football; they're also coming together to talk about important topics like being confident and supporting each other.

SPFP Center Drop-In
Our center is buzzing with activities all week long, from Bible studies to baking classes to game nights. It's a place where everyone can hang out and feel at home.

Football and Futsal Practice
Our sports community is thriving, with our participants from all walks of life getting involved in training sessions and tournaments. It's not just about playing; it's about coming together as a team, no matter who you are.

Other activities include:
We hang out with people of all ages, from little kids to older folks, giving them personal support whenever they need it.
We host Peace Camps where we help everyone learn how to make peace, with fun workshops and sessions that help young people grow and learn.
We run Leadership Classes to help our players become great leaders.
We've got Alpha Courses that last 11 weeks, where everyone's welcome to come chat about faith, life, and all things God with their friends in a cozy setting.

NINE ARROWS – MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT
The "9 aRRows" program aims to boost emotional regulation and well-being in participants by drawing on research and psychosocial care principles. It unfolds in two phases: recognizing and expressing emotions, and developing coping skills and social connections. The program promotes personal growth and hope for the future. In 2024, the program has been shared through training sessions with other organizations, expanding its impact. Participants gained essential skills, enabling them to support their communities, fostering resilience and positive change.
