A Bit About Walter
Walter did his DTS in Santa Cruz, Bolivia in 1994 and joined YWAM in the UK full time in 2002. Justice, Forgiveness and Reconciliation are significant aspects of Walter's life, and he has dedicated most of his time engaging in social and community issues such as homelessness, poverty and conflict.
He holds a specialization in Public Health & Community Nursing and a Dip in Community Counseling. For the last 30 years he has had diverse and fulfilling roles and experiences, including working in hospitals, engaging in community development, A&E nursing, participating in urban community work in the heart of London, and being part of a YWAM team at a hub for prayer, reconciliation and spiritual renewal in Rostrevor, Northern Ireland.
He's passionate about the Middle East and for the last 15 years he's been actively involved in the region by leading teams, networking, supporting local organizations and churches, and facilitating spaces for forgiveness and reconciliation. Walter is the one providing essential member and pastoral care for the team and handling some admin tasks. Walter has two sides: the humorous one and the wise serious one, so make sure you get to know both!
